323i Which Suspension Springs?

I haven't done much on the e21 this week (due to having my Daughter's Corsa to repair) other than getting the geometry set up, my new timing light was delivered and I haven't even taken it out of the box.

The trip to get the geometry set was the longest so far, I now have 42 miles on the odometer. The front end tracked up without any trouble but the back has way too much camber and it appears that the rear springs are sagging by the day and need urgent replacement so I'm after some suggestions. I can't really drive it at the moment because if this.

To be clear I am not into slamming or stance or any of that butchery (sorry if that's your thing). The whole ethos behind the car is that it is about the best they could do back in 1982, mods are very limited to sports steering rack, leather retrim with recaros, 15 inch Alpina reps. The ride height should be lower than the factory standard but a little less bouncy castle and lowered subtly. The H&R H&R 29531-1 seem to be the only ones available that have a sensible (35mm) drop. I'm thinking that to match the 1982 Alpina ride height would be the goal. I'd really like to know what other people think and what is their experience?

Eibach springs, usually they lower 5mm less than H&R but a more comfy ride due to their progressive characteristics, so without ruining the handling when you're pushing it a bit more. But it you have the idea it is sagging, also make sure your dampers are still fresh.

The rear sits very low, and indeed gets lower every day, the shocks are new.

Eibach don't seem to list the springs for e21 at the moment, maybe they are discontinued, I'm going to email them and see.

What are these Eibachs? Did they restart production for E21? are these NOS? or does Eibach still cover E21 by small numbers?

Exactly, afaik Eibach for E21s are worldwide discontinued. I happen to have a set which I found from a guy who claimed he had them from a group buy, so these are now waiting to be fitted. But this bimmer parts web site from the Netherlands indeed surprised me! So I would like to know more info about the product

I have informed forum members about this several times already. The owner of this business is a former E21 owner, in fact he had a few, and for many years he has supplied E21 owners here with strut braces, Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs to name but a few. Afaik he hoarded a couple of E21 sets as he knew he always had some demand through this website. So if you're lucky he has some left.
