I foolishly removed the sway bar to install new front shocks.
Is there any advice on this site to explain how to re-attach it.
Thanks,
Peter

Shouldn't be a problem. If you refit the strut on one side as well as the wishbone, you can just slide the sway bar in on that side. Then you have two options: (1) slide the 2nd wishbone over the other sway bay end and fit the wishbone, after that have a 2nd person help pushing the wishbone down while fitting the 2nd strut, or (2) fit the strut and wsih bone as a set, starting by sliding the wishbone over the sway bar end then tilting it into place, may require a 2nd person for some help as well. With both wishbones and struts fitted you can then place the front sway bar mounts. Sometimes I use a jack to push bracket and bushing into place.

Now if you have removed it, I recomment fitting new rubber swaybar mounts.
It is a bit of a hassle, to get it fitted. What I use to do is fit it with longer bolts at first. Get it in place as much as possible and than switch to the corrrect bolts.

Isn't there thread on the sway bar on the front where a nut locks the thing in place when it has passed the wishbone? So which bolts do you mean?
One tip I once got was to use a ratchet strap in order to tie the ends closer together so it can pass the wishbone.

I used a ratchet strap to pull in the ends of the anti roll bar, worked a treat!

Sorry just seen this.
I had the bottom arms unbolted from the subframe with the ARB inserted into the bottom arms, then I tightened the strap until I could get the bolts through the bottom arms into the subframe. I just put the ratchet strap across the widest part of the ARB.
