Hello all,

As a lot of us have BBS splitters, I’m wondering how people are getting over the fact that their towing eye is covered after install?

I recall on W&N seeing an extender piece that would allow the angular clearance for towing, but can’t seem to find mention of it anywhere!

There used to be an extension for the E21 but I believe it is NLA for decades already:



But perhaps the one for the M-Tech E30's will work and is also more rigid:

I was able to order the extention back in 2010 .. at the moment NLA ik am affraid

Seems like an easy part to fabricate something similar. I’ll draw something up and share if there’s an interest.

I have serious apprehension about being unable to tow the car without destroying the front bumper

car like this are not for towing

i had this issue some time ago, so i used tow truck and pulled car on the truck using aft hook.

hello everyone, after a lot of research I found a new BBS spoiler, remaining stock and its dedicated towbar with homologation documentation, if someone needs photos or references to make a replica, please ask here
