Hello,
What is the best way to reinstall injectors with the new o rings to ensure proper seating? Rubber mallet and silicone spray? Thank you in advance for your experience!

Typically I place the oring on the injector, and then use silicone spray as you suggest. I also have used a dull chisel and hammer to pop it in with respect to clearance issues. A rubber mallet would do more to preserve the hardware, but I also like to have them connected before I insert them. I find that sticking the orings first makes it hard to get the injector started. Also I have found that pb blaster makes a better lubricant, though it may be bad for the rubber/nitril.

Yeah I did the same, fit together with the o-ring, and then carefully tapped it in using a small plastic scraper from various sides to prevent them going in under the wrong angle or damaging them. Worked well with the intake manifold installed.

Thank you for your comments. The head is actually off the block, so I want to install these prior to reinstalling the head. I have a spare/broken fuel line that have the end cap that I plan on installing on the injector while lightly tapping.

All injectors installed with the silicone spray and some hammering...some harder than others, however, no damage! Thanks again.
