Put the bonnet back on and it doesn't tilt all the way forwards (it won't stand up on it's own any more!)... Can anyone please take a look at these photos and tell me what we're doing wrong? There only seems one way to put it back together so not sure what has happened!!

Hinge springs are handed left and right ( as real oem) could they have been fitted to the opposite sides that they were originally before disassembly?

I seem to remember the pop up/forward is helped by the springs/rods inside the pivot tube. Are they still in place?

The bonnet does still need a push down when closing and you can feel the springs, so I'm pretty sure it does
