Erm i think they have had enough of working on E21s and want to fettle an old saloon car for a change. Anyway, you're far to busy cleaning up baby sick to get into the unit to do anything. :D hahaha

Yes, certainly not a million miles out, I'm thinking eccentric subframe bushes and the axle will go on the E21 axle pins. I'll see if the problems with the E21 diffs are true before commiting to making any progress on the E30 rear sub first.

Just been doing various jobs on the E21 since the lad's weekend mission. Bled the clutch, brake, radiator. Modded the throttle linkage, refitted windows etc etc. I finally drove it but literally only on and off our trailer, although it was a matter of metres I can tell it's going to be quick!

The car finally went off for an exhaust last night, though it will be a few weeks before I get it back. Then it will be finished up and rushed through an MOT ready for a trackday on the 24th of April 8). I've also had some military paint delivered...

Dez from retro-rides, a very talented guy.

A few more shots, no doubt a familiar sight for a lot on this forum:

Yes...

On the bonnet edge, though I think it should end up darker after a few coats

The only problem is I like the current paint as it's very weathered, which I think looks great. But the wings will be new, it has new sills on, there will be body work repairs all over it and the BBS splitter is illuminous yellow. So most of the car will be different colours which isn't a good look, hence the paint.

Fair point Murran... I luckily have plenty in stock that are not for sale. With drivetrain, rear axle stuff and front struts I've actually gone from selling to hoarding incase I break and bend stuff...

The track day is the biannual RAF Marham charity track day in the middle of Norfolk, I go to every event. Entries have closed though.

It would be good to compare the performance of our cars, to see if the 24v is actually worth it!!

lol i loved the thorough decision making techiques we used to determine what colour to paint your car lol itll never rust with that stuff on, brake fluid doesnt even touch it lol. i thnk im gonna look at getting some bigger badass driveshafts specially made. the v8's gonna make mince meat out of them.
