I started with fuel pipes this week. Screws weren't rusty at all and the biggest issue was removing the fuel tank. I have to order both fuel pipes from BMW. I am expecting box 1x2 meters 8) I'll paint the fuel tank in black color meanwhile. Since the car is lifted I'll change all the fluids (engine, gearbox and diff.) as well.

Today, well actually yesterday, I was in a BMW to pick up pipes and some pieces around.
Guy gave me the little bag with screws and clamps and as a bonus large invoice :D
Then he asks me if I came with a big car. I say, I took the biggest I have and then he said OK and brought the box to which you can easily fit plasma tv with diagonal 150 cm :D
When I say that there's probably enough space in my car for this box he brought second one :shock
In Munich, Clearly They have no problem with the paper. Two fuel pipes wrapped individually.

There is no way that they'll fit. I pulled small Swiss knife, (which, as I experienced during one of my visits,is illegal in Britain), and opened the box as a Christmas gift. My French dehet power estate (seats folded down) devour as raspberries. If tomorrow or Sunday will be at least a little heat so I am going to install pipes. I'll take pictures, then throw it here.

The tanks are set out, I pulled the fuel pump and the inside look good. Now just get rid of (hope only) surface rust ...

Fuel pipes successfully installed and engine (with battery from little Clio) started without problems.
I went for a ride on sunny Sunday ;) Everything (apart from poorly tightened front wheel) was OK and i really enjoyed the ride.

Long time since last update. But the car has not changed.
Here are some pics before winter hibernation. I hope that I can do some repairs during the winter.

Still a sweet car!

As for a calendar, I was already digging into this. Not a year-calendar (already have a test for one of those at home) but a birthday calendar than can last for many years. Of course with E21 photos submitted by bmwe21.net members only, so pictures by us and selected by us.

I'd like to choose for a birthday calendar because we won't order too many of those, so they won't be cheap, so it'd better last a couple of years. Or?

What I found sofar is an A3 size calendar that uses half of its surface (so say A4 size) for a photo, a month a page so then we'd need 12 great photos. Price would be abt EUR 22,50 but if people have some alternatives that can be designed/configured on line, they are most welcome. But please come up with a decent alternative that allows larger pictures, is larger than A4 and does offer birthday calendars. I went through a lot of cr*p sites already.

This callendar will be A2, and it will be classic year calendar. Price is about 22€ incl. posting in CZ.
I don't know what exactly is a birthday calendar. Is it a calendar with months without marked weekends and public holidays? (so you can reuse it every year)?

There will be a sharks calendar next year with cars from czech sharks forum zraloci.net
But if you want just E21 callendar,I'm in. ;)
