Louca's E21

Post by louca21 »

Hey guys. New to the forum, recently purchased an E21 as a little project. I turn 21 in December, and hope to have it finished by then. I live in London, and am currently doing an apprenticeship in body and paint... blah blah

Wont be a fast progress thread as i will only be working on it once a week.

Anyway, enough talk, Lets get to pics!

..
..
Started with the rusty old rear panel, got given a spare as part of the purchase!
Image

Stripped it down and found alot more rust then we'd expected..

So out came the power tools!

Came of quite easy! all that was left was to neaten things up!

The following week, we smoothed out the bootlid, took out holes from the spoiler, badge and aerial..previous owner had two aerials in.. not to sure why..

week after that we finally got the new rear panel on!

And lights still fit!!

e30 conversion looks ok and gives a bit more power but i think if i had an
s edition it would need to be original only 200 made in the uk.
have you got any mods planned for your 323 or are you keeping it factory

the s isn't mine, belongs to a customer! mine was a 316 before the conversion.
The conversion was done well, and has been declared through bmw. Not 100% sure on the plans i have, keep seeing other e21's that make me change my mind lol!
but i will definitely be going down the stance route! which im sure will be not be appreciated by all lol!

Some arch flaring :D

Took longer then i thought it would, about 1,30 hours a side. Got the best finish i was capable of but unfortunately they will need a skim of filler :(

Still got rears to do!
