I was unaware of the origin of the interior other than that the seller said that it came out of an E21 lost to the scrappage scheme. The low mileage would explain the good order of the interior - having looked on and off for several years for an example like this. Although I have only fitted the seats as my interior was pretty good apart from the front seats.e21-Mark wrote:It still saddens me that the car that gave up that interior was destroyed thanks to the UK scrappage scheme. I was a genuine, 1 owner and super low mileage 316 and probably one of (if not the) best unrestored e21 in the UK.
Glad it found a good home though.
Yes, I was pleasantly surprised that the car went straight through the MOT after being in the garage for two years - almost to the day.uwbuurman wrote:never the less a great update for your 323i! MOTed without a problem, after al those years? Nice!
Thanks everone for taking a look and your various comments. Whilst looking for an interior I was trying to stay original if possible and this interior certainly ticks that box.raseeda green wrote:Super car, indeed, sometime I see the original look is the best ever!
