Rare in the U.K at least. I know a guy on bimmerforums who has one in an E21.

Sad for you, it's the M102 version. These engines aren't very reliable. Stronger: for tuning not interested because off the easy overheating and fuel economy problems. The later verions: m106's are much, much better.
I'm afraid you won't get this price..
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Don't be afraid, I'm neither selling or buying it :-) thought it might be of interest to someone and I don't know an awful lot about these cars, except you are probably right. Still a rare car to be found in the uk in my opinion though.

For the UK absolutely! In Holland they aren't very rare.
