316 from NZ

hi guys
Names Byron south african living in nz , this is my daily driver .. i am a bmw fan and never thought id own one
i sold a e39 touring and needed a run around ..i knew a local bmw guy selling one so this is how i got it , after driving it and doing some maintenance
i really enjoy it ! drives pretty smooth
the previous owner replaced the front bushes also

before
took off mud flaps , wheels and clar bar

recent shots from today after using a clay bar for the first time WOW! even though paint is no where near mint .. still need to give it a polish though..
and lowering..clean the carpet and die it clean interior properly ..and my radio and speakers are crap needs to be changed soon also :screwy

shes not a minter but that will be the plan long term ..remove rust etc

Welcome here, nice car! Like the wheels, never seen those before I believe, what make are those?

Believe the folding sunroof was never a factory option but I like that as well. All makes it a nice package!

shes starting to shape up still so many things on the to do list

so the roof wasnt a factory option? thats interesting ... :shake

as for the wheels i was looking for a while couldnt find anything , these poped up with the right specs apparently rare type will try find the brand got them for a good price too!

hey is the chrome strips around the front and rear windscreen replaceable? mine are brownish

took off spoiler
painted my windscreen trims
blacking the carpet and parcel tray ( i will remove carpet when i get it re sprayed)
bit of a engine bay degrease

Those wheels are cool, I would love to see some like that banded in a staggered pattern.
