Which wheel size works best

Do you know if some 17" wheels wok good on our cars?
If yes what size of tyres shoul one use with it?

I now have the original 15" ones, but as I will mostly use the car for track-day events, supose 17's will give the car a more precise road holding.

By the way Just orderd the Z3M differential cover, for better differential cooling and off-course the better Bushing that comes with it.

I will also finally instal the 25mm Brake Master cilinder up-grade that was ordered from the usa and has been waiting too long in the box....

Yeah keep us posted on the brake upgrade... have to postpone that myself cuz I bought a 325i for the track... can't have it all but I'm quite sure it will happen one day.

As for the wheels... I usually stick to Alpina spec meaning for the E30 7x16 at the front with 195/50-16 and 7x16 or 8x16 at the rear with 195 or 205/50-16.

Or fit M3 struts all round and fit 16" M3 cross spokes... well that's all a matter of taste!
