Now, let's say I've been busy

I restarted work on my 323i this winter and my goal is to finish it by the summer

Firstly I purchased some new parts:

... and so on

Then I sarted to assemble smaller units such as pedalbox, fuel pump unit, heater box:

old vs. new

And then it was time for a paintjob. It was painted in two tones. Darker grey is graphit-metallic and lighter grey is ascotgrau-metallic:

After bringing the car home, it was time for the fun part

well i wondering why you are buying new pedal and air boxes etc when all you need to do in have tyhe old ones paintyed and they are as good as new, so basically you bought most of them parts because the old ones just needed a bit of paint, i think its a bit of common sense and a bit less money waisting needed.

come on phill, if the man has $$$ or £££ let him spend, to be honest, ill settle with taking my pedals out, giving them a good ol` petrol cleanup, then spray it in the backyard .. you know what i mean

and make it look nice... i agree in the way, spending money on parts in a useless way and all... but there you go... new fresh pedals " un peddled" by some one else.. first owner

Khmm, well... actually pedalbox isn't new. Only new details in this assembly are rubber coverings (1€/piece) and clutch master cylinder (~20€)

Black parts are powder coated and yellow parts are galvanized. So no big €€€ wasted

Same story about the airbox. The only new part is blower engine (costed about 35€). Rest of the box is just thoroughly cleaned to look as new.
