My Henna 320/6

Post by Desmos »

Hey everyone. Thought I'd post up my 21. Had it a couple of months and slowly working through the lists.
I'm sure some of you saw it advertised a while back, it wasn't as described, but still a good enough base to swing it (after a decent price drop!)
So far:
M3 grill badge removed.
Clutch slave and master replaced
Inspection 2
Sorted interior, repaired seat springs, fitted stereo (keeping original Pioneer speakers,
Purchased some Alpina 13's

Still to do:
Front dampers, as they're pretty shot (think Caddilac)
Lower arms and bushes
Rectify sloppy gear change
Drive it :launch

Welcome here! Looks good! With the M3 badge gone it looks just like the car on the accessories brochure!

Thank you Jeroen.
I had an e21 about 20 years ago, so bringing back a lot of nostalgia, or just a midlife depending on how you look at it :)

Spent Saturday morning replacing the front dampers with Bilstein B4's.
Lower arms, track arms, brake hoses, and arb bushes.
I had to forgo the lowering springs due to the other parts required.
Complete transformation in terms of ride now, feels like a BMW now :boogie

Was a bit spoilt for choice this weekend with an E90 M3, lovely car.

Oh the hardship! I had an E36 Evo sedan as a daily for a few years, loved its performance and understated looks!

I know I'm lucky, got to make full use of a trade policy :crazy
The Evo:Totally agree with you on that one. The saloon is a real sleeper, and will eat 996's for breakfast.
That ones a definite keeper.
Had loads over the years,
21's, 30's (M & C2 2.7 tech 1 (favourite) ) 34's, 38, 39, 46, 90, 02 Bauer (another one I wish I'd kept) and came close to a 24 recently.

Hmmm maybe I've got a problem...

Fixed the hazard switch today, after a pair of little hands played a bit too much with it.
Also sorted the idle as the webber needed a little tune up.
Time for a spot of engine detail and check tappets next.
