Am I alone in thinking that modern BMWs don't look quite right with that break in the bonnet above the badge on the nose?

I was looking at a new 4 series - and it just doesn't look right to me!

And yet only slightly older BMWs avoid this

I am sure that Jeroen might supply some pictures!
Of course BMWs went downhill after they stopped having rear opening bonnets like the E21 and E30 etc

I fear that I shall be joining the VAG fold next year when I finally bid farewell to my lovely owned from new ZT-T CDTi.............. apologies!

Been off the radar here for a while coping with the Scot Vote- which we narrowly won- as well as usual exigencies of running 3x busnesses, and funerals!!
