...will feature a big article comparing several S14 powered cars. Street and track M3's but also Wayne's (German Cars) modded 320iS and a stock 320iS. Should be in the UK news stands around March 10, outside the UK a little later.
Seems Wayne is doing a tour of all the magazines, he was in this months' Performance BMW as well... again with some other S14's (M3 track car, M3 street car, 320iS street car).
Nice to see all the attention the S14 in general and the 320iS in particular gets lately!
Total BMW April...

Just received the mag, officially out in the UK tomorrow and abroad in abt one week...
Drool... big story on the E30 M3 comparing 6 different versions, M1, E28 M5, E34 M5 buying guide, story on the S14's timing chain, E36 M3, Alpina B3 3.2 touring and last but not least a great story comparing a factory standard 320iS and German Cars' track modded version.
A few quotes...
"A supercar-slaying concoction"
"As a whole, there are no real headaches with the four banger S14 or the 320iS. So if you're looking for a reasonably priced, rock solid and capable track day car, that also happens to be gorgeous, here's the perfect candidate. We're convinced you won't find a better or more exclusive E30 than the 320iS. So the question is: what on earth are you waiting for?"
"Ignore the nonsense about the 100.000 mile timing chain changes for the S14, but fit a late E36 chain tensioner if the chain sounds a bit noisy. On balance, a 320iS with a Bilstein Sport kit fitted along with Eibach anti-roll bars and an M3 steering rack would be our choice really, there's not much in it" as the answer to a guy from Assen (Holland!) asking if he should buy a 325i or a 320iS

I know it has nothing to do with S14, but Alan Wood's 2002 Baur with a tii-engine (in the same mag) isn't too shabby either...
