Got some pics from the engine manufactur. And the doors are in and outside completed!

Is this head welded? I see strange things in the combustion chamber of cyl-5.

And how did you open the oil pressure regulator valve? As far as i know it's not possible to disassemble this part.

Oh, and that securing plate that holds the two shafts for the camshaft followers doesn't look OK either. Did you use the one in the photo's?

I didn‘t do anything. The Engine were at the an engine factory for renewing! All parts came new...also the secure plate.....! They sent me the pics to show me the problems !

Ok, in that case great news! What kind of valve cover is that? This one has the lump on it in the middle, with the two holes. As far as I know, the 323i ove is smooth, with only the vent pipe on it??

This is the original Valve Cover. See my topics on Page one. I dont know why they are differen. Your one looks ident to my E30 325i valve cover
