coolant loss

Found this: the ICV is controlled through the DME using the main relay. Most likely the data from the (blue) coolant temp sensor is the input used for its control. If the car runs, de main relay is ok... the coolant temp sensor is still under suspicion I think.
For measurements:
2 pin connector:
Ignition off : pin 1 and 2 at the ICV 6-10 ohms
Ignition on : pin 2 of harness connector 12V

Thanks Jeroen i will try it today.But i want to know also the second sensor of the thermostat what is for.ALso if you can told me the correct code of sensor and the manufacter because here the bmw dealer give me the same sensor of bmw 316 m40.So i dont trust the bmw dealer and i order it in another spare part shop
Jeroen you helped me very very much and thank you realy for this help.I would sold my car before 8 months because of this reason.I have been in several bmw service to solve my problem but they take only money.I love this car very much and i dont want to sold it.What i find?In service socket the 11 and 19 with 1 and 3 of idle valve all the same.I have the wiring from the engine plug from m3 but i dont have from service socket and also the dme plug.I have one cd of bmw but it dont have the service socket and dme plug
