Nice wheels but they could doing with being a bit wider to fill the arches

They're 9J with 225 & 235/50's. Any wider and they'd foul the arches and they'd need to be removed every time you changed the wheels.

How could you hit the arch? would tilt the wheel as you fit it and then pull the front upwards? Is the standard arch underneath the flare then? When you fit flares your supposed to cut the stock arch off aren't you?

Yes, of course the stock arch was removed.

It's the arch design that causes problems with fitting rims. Obviously being able to move the front hub helps there, but the rear isn't so easy. Jason had the same issue.
Jason_323i wrote:How did you attach the rear arches, I had to make mine demountable as that was the only way i good the rear wheel on and off.

Looks great Mark! Knowing you, you'll already have an idea, but I nabbed some stick on BMW roundell logos off ebay which were a perfect fit for my Dare hub caps. Mine were 17"s though.

A combination of things. Moving to Cornwall, large solicitors fees, a healthy offer from someone putting together a classic BMW race team and something red.

I'll keep an eye on it, once it's gone to its new home.

Something red.
