Arch cutting more like. Since at the current ride height the rear wheel arch is actually below the top of the alloy, I let the jack down yesterday and the car ground to a halt... The car was sitting on the top of the alloy, not only that it had scuffed the alloy pretty bad! Apart from that the arch was a perfect fit, so I got the grinder out and cut out the wheel arch lip. The rear wheels fit on perfectly and the car doesn't look any worse for missing the wheel arch lips.

The front wheels bolted straight on and no clearance problems so far, even with full size tyres. The reason I ran small tyres on the style 5s up front was to clear the coilover springs, with these alloys they have a reduced offset so the tyre is further away from the springs. Since I have full size tyres on the front, I raised the rear coilovers by about 35mm.
