inded they are, have you seen the roger clark impreza that competes in the uk, called the gobstopper, easily the fastest car i have ever seen.

yeah that thing is crazy! there's a great vid of it on youtube, its got so much power it just looks like he's driving on ice every time he gives it gas. and it has nos for when 700(?)hp 'isnt enough' - on the track! complete lunacy...

it is such a machine, nothing can touch it. the way it just slides around, like driving on ice is the perfect way to describe it. no tyres could hold onto that, crazy. its hardly even an impreza anymore, all the subframes and suspension are all custom built by roger clark to handle the power, fair play to olly for even stepping into it, let alone driving it that fast
