Just managing not to bid on this...

Post by drjim »

Either I get my Baur on the road soon or I'll be shopping for old BMW's again. I love this car!

I have such a thing! They are superb to drive, just do it.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Thats been in my watch list for the last week or so, mainly out of curiosity as I'm broke... I'd happily trade my E32 735i for an E23! Jim, get it bought.

They are also selling Matt Jones from Practical Classics's gorgeous V8 Merc W123.

It doesn't look like it'll have rust underneath, but I'm wary of 1980's BMW's bought over the internet unseen! My track record is one 316 that was fine, two rotten 635's and a slightly manky Baur (although that was a £400 fixer upper!).

Technically I don't have any money either, and I certainly don't have time to go down and collect it, so would need a delivery man of some sort.

I'll see what happens...
