My 73' E10 2002tii

Post by BMW-POWER »

Here's my 2002tii,

bought this car a couple of months ago, it had been restaured for 80%
turbo arches fixed,
when i got this it had no engine, interior, gearbox
just the tii suspension with bilsteins mounted and tii rear brakes, with between the rear wheels maybe a LSD(still havent checked)
and a bonini rear exhaust :|
and some drilling holes in the floor :hammer

original this car was a 1973 2002tii in Taigagrün,
fitted with a lot of options, sport5 gearbox, LSD,

now i already have got some parts together for this car :)
-rear end plate with round tail lights
-middle nose piece to chop to a old chromé grilled model
-complete tii engine
-pair of Turbo brake jaws :D

now its under restauration, still have some welding to do :P
some pic's

today stripped the cylinder head, for the valve springs i have this special tool from facom :) very finger friendly
tomorrow i'm dropping the head by my regular engine revision company, for testing, cleaning, making straight, and fitting the valves

today after work did some testing with a new product on my work, some kind of decapant, but specially for metal and aluminium
this is the result
but they are all over with small scratches, anyone knowing a product works well for chromé?

Use AUTOSOL paste. It's best for aluminium and chrome parts.
