1986 mk2 polo - £750 no offers

Post by nas80 »

Alright guys, I know this isnt a BMW or even RWD but its a great laugh to drive and its good for a nipping about in and seeing as my bmw is taking ages to do. I've decided to keep the bready a little longer.. the 150 a year insurance and 45 mpg and 0-60 in 7 / 8 seconds is pretty much all you need for a car to nip about in.

Sick. I'd buy this if I had somewhere secure to keep it. What's the insurance like with the mods declared?

I pay 150 a year but Im on a classic policy. to give you an idea of speed it easy kept up with my mates 2.2 tdi 150hp saab thing

Its got armour plates on the door handles now. If you put an alarm on it then no one would bother it.

Seriously id move house if I was you though Reck .

Is on a couple of vw forums. i dunno about a 24v lol. Car weighs 650kg and has about 100hp. I use this car to nip to the shops and back.

Id be interested in a swap for something though. What have you?

Haha ya big girl. My driving has been described as scary but touch wood no mishaps so far!

This car would be good as a track car it handles like a mk1 golf but more nimble.

I don't mind swapping it for stuff... Set of decent rims? Rare parts? An e21 or other car? A holiday?
