Dutch ZAC racedriver Nynke (www.nynkerace.nl) kindly offered to film a lap of me in the 320iS at the Assen track on July 20. And it's here!
What remarks can I make... the car went really well but my aged street tyres weren't too good and the outside temperature of 35+ degrees didn't help with that. Hence some careful cornering. This vid was recorded during a slow session where it wasn't allowed to overtake (and most comply hahaha). That took quite some speed out of the laps but on the other hand it greatly reduces risk.
For the fast laps I use the 325i on slicks so that's a different ball game, will try to get some footage of that action in the near future.
For those that do not understand dutch here's some translation of the comments that you can hear in the vid (very free translation based on my memory as I don't have any sound here at work)
Steve: the car would definitely benefit from a anti roll kit but is otherwise fine
Nynke: surprised by the performance of a silly street car compared to her track car (E30 325i)
And some babbling about 5 series gear sticks... waaaayyyyy off topic

Here's the vid! (please note: 21mb .mpg file)
A big thank you to Nynke!
