When i was visiting Baur 323 to buy a door for my e28 i saw this beauty of a m535i e12...
Offcourse we talked about old beemers and forums. My question was why isn't there a e12 forum.
Then he gave me the tip to check out the e21 forum so i did...
Joost and me are friends who share the same passion and that is old beamers.
We started with E30 tourings and e28... But those cars are not that rare.
So we thought we should buy a e12 and we did.
Now we are busy restoring a 1975 bmw 528 e12 type 1.
We bought the car 2 years ago. The car was i descent condition but off course not rust free.
Our plans:
- New paint job and do it ourselves!
- M30b35 from a e34 535i
- 16 or 17 inch alpina's
- Bilstein suspension and lower it 4 cm
- hopefully find a Recaro interior but is gone be hard.

Okay this is an impression and my first post.
At the moment we are finishing the chassis of the car.. Next few weeks we are gone repaint the chassis and we have a 99% rust free car...
Hope you like our little project and we hope to learn here a lot about e12's and other projects.
