Replaced left front fender due to rust. Rest of the car is really solid. Should be painted by next week. Here are some photos.

I know, aren't they awful. Never occurred to me until you mentioned it. Is there front valence metal work to be done in addition to finding a euro bumper? It would be nice to eliminate those battering rams, but I have this originality complex. Some times to a fault.uwbuurman wrote:Cool. No eurobumperconcersion?

Hahahah, I know, I have the same issues. I am an originality freak also.
Front is a simple conversion, the problem is at the rear, I believe it requires some welding. But keeping it original is also great, dispite the awful bumpers

Here are some photos of my recently painted 320i. Removed doors, trim and all glass. Just a little rust around trunk gasket and front window seal. Glass all original. It will be in heated storage until April.

Well done sir, looks great! Guess you're in a part of the country where you have to give oldies some rest for a couple of months, like over here. Even though it's not that bad this year, still it's wet and they throw enough salt on the roads which is not eactly what you want to expose your fresh restoration to.
