Good day all,
Does anyone have a pic they can share of their door shut? I'm currently chasing an electrical fault, and noticed I'm missing (so I think) the switch that sits in the door which turns the interior lights on and off when you open/close the door (see pic in link). I bought the car like this so wanted to confirm if there should indeed be a switch here. The pic is my drivers side door, but assume there should be one on the passenger side too?

And any ideas if what else this circuit is linked to as my LED clock remains on when I turn the car off, which I'm sure is not how it should be.
Thanks in advance,
Kam

Re: Door Switch for interior lights
Clearly the switch is missing, larger hole for the switch, smaller hole for the screw that holds it down. Switch makes a mass contact so that should never lead to a short circuit. LED clock should be off with ignition off, don't think that issue is related.
