What LSD for 2.7L stroker with 5 gears?
Hello, I'm having a doubts how to match LSD for the 2.7L stroker E21 with 5 gears? Can you please recommend with some justification? Best regards!

Depends if you have a Dogleg or overdrive 5 speed and what sort of driving you want to be doing. Motorway, fast road or track.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Depends a bit on where your max torque is depending on cam used, the hotter the cam the more upwards it goes in the rev range. If you already have a lot of bottom end torque a 3.45 would be fine, otherwise I would go one step shorter to a 3.64. Love the move from 3.45 to 3.64 with my 323i, but that's with stock engine.
