It's a real special car, just a pity it's only a 318i. But the engine copes well.

I just thought Mugello was a M3 only paint?

Anyway, the bicolor leather is from the factory, including M3 rear seat and even the seat covers are leather. Heated seats, power roof mechanism... the car is 100% like it left the factory.. except the tires that were up for replacement after so many years... this car 'eats' more timing belts than tyres

if its a 318i then it doesn't use timing belts. the tail lights say it has an m40 or m42 in it unless you guys got m10 motors in the 91, 92, 93 e30 verts. and the rear seats on verts look just like e30 m3 seats only thinner.

The M40 engine as fitted in this car does have a timing belt. It's predecessor, the M10 engine, used a timing chain. The M42 on the other hand, used a chain again!

Woke up the car after a hibernation that lasted exactly one year. Starting on all cilinders right away, running and driving like a baby. Yeah, it's not being driven on a regular basis but hey, that keeps the mileage down :P the car has covered a whole 300 kms since I took the photos above... 2 years ago!

Wowsers! You didn't mention it was your car before...right? Anyway, it looks amazing. I've been thinking to go for an e30 convertible next year, instead of an e21. 6-cilinder convertibles in good condition are hard to find...think it'll be a 318i as well!

Any chance this one is up for sale any time soon? ;) Damn, problably worth more than 15k...right?

The car belongs to my parents, and they already received a bid of EUR 20.000 but they're not selling.

But if you're looking for one, I will have a beautiful 325i convertible , with a Wiesmann hardtop, on my hands real soon. Not mine (again  ), but I'll be selling it anyway.

I wouldn't be selling it either! Did they buy it from new?

As for that 325i, I'm still saving money and it will take another year for me to buy a decent cabriolet (still a poor student..!). Even then my budget will be somewhere around 4-5k, and I'm guessing that it doesn't get anywhere near that 325i!
