Re: Pandemoniums 316 restore
still welding.
fuel filler pipe support.

I am thinking i may stitch weld up the chassis rails there is a little bit of movement and a slight gap after i stripped some of the underseal

think I may also cut out and replace with straight metal.

started cutting out floor pan patches.

another improvised effort.

then ran out of argoshield, so more stripping done.

list is down to about 6 jobs on the shell now.
but still many many many hours of grinding left yet.

Thanks, I'm still trying to catch up with the rest of the builds.pic wrote:One of my favourite topics.
next big cost will be the grit blasting, if i Hire DIY it will be about £400 including 1Ton of crushed glass.
so if i can get a mobile guy for less i will go for that.

you'll be able to eat your dinner off the underneath of that car.

got another bargain as well, a Bullfinch auto torchbrazing kit, at BOC on the shelf reduced from £138 to £18, quized a bit to see if it can actually get hot enough to braze the rear panel? lists 950C to optimum conditions 1200C. said i would take it and try, he then gave it to me for free!!!! RESULT.

More cleaning grinding and welding.

before

after

easy way to copy hard to measure shapes. lay a rag over it then spray paint from other side and transfere

Getting there,
On another note, got a quote for blasting the shell. £200 for under side engine bay and boot. will get the whole car done appart from roof and rear Qtr's

Your welding is very tidy. Nice work btw.
So which engine are you going to use?
