Ouch! That's a lot of pictures!
If I did your kind of restoration there wouldn't be many pictures, I often think I should take some pictures, but usually end up doing it all and mounting it back in and then realise I didn't take any pictures
So a restoration of mine would probably be just a few pages long

It is a bit of a reinsurance as well. There are many restauration projects that look nice from the outside, but are hopeless from the inside. When you are transparant about it and you document it, it can be translated to a value for the car.

OMG!!! Lots of dust here, as I discovered that I haven’t updating since Feruary 2017!!!
Anyway, without further ado, here we are again. I assembled the screenwashpumps. All nice an yellow again.

Like the car these pumps are dated 1978!

Back on the reservoir.

New filter in the reservoir of the powersteering. I wonder if the old one is factory original. It sure is dirty.

And I took apart the little flashlight. All corroded inside.

So, cleaned, new batteries and a LED light with E10 socket.

Soldered together.

It charges and lights, so a successful operation.

And then back tot he brakebooster. The old one was alle corroded on the inside and that’s why I tossed it. New one looked very clean and healthy on the inside. But the outside….

Needless to say that it needed some love and attention. Didn’t like to sandblast it, because that shit gets in between every moving and non moving part. So sanding and Rustico gel.

I knew it was an Ate, but didn/t kno wit was stamped in the surface.
